The University of Kentucky is the latest university to offer a Healthcare MBA, with a curriculum “specifically tailed for health care professionals, providing a strong foundation for a graduate excel in value-based health care and value-based reimbursement.” Also being offered through the Gatton College of Business and Economics is a Healthcare Graduate Certificate which offers “healthcare-specific” classes as opposed to a more comprehensive and holistic business education one would find with the Healthcare MBA. Both are promising opportunities for healthcare professionals looking to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving healthcare industry.
