Position Description:
Providence St. Mary Medical Center seeks a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Medical Oncology/Hematology physician to join our comprehensive, multidisciplinary Regional Cancer Center in Walla Walla, WA. As part of the well-established Providence Cancer Institute, you will join a network of 534 specialists. The center offers a robust clinical trials program with access to over 100 clinical trials, a large research network, and opportunities for investigator-initiated trials. Position Highlights:
- Title: Hematology Oncology Physician
- Location: Walla Walla, WA
- Work Schedule: 4-day work schedule
- Facility: 16-chair infusion center with OCN-certified RNs, lab services, and an on-site credentialed pharmacist
- Services: Radiation oncology and therapy services, general and breast tumor boards on-site
- Clinical Trials: Robust NCORP clinical trials through the Pacific Cancer Research Consortium
- Support: Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) support, COC Accreditation, and a strong RN navigation and patient advocacy/support program

Required Qualifications:
- MD/DO/MBBS degree from an accredited medical school
- Board eligibility/board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology
- Valid medical license in the state of Washington or the ability to obtain one
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a multidisciplinary cancer care setting
- Participation in clinical trials and research
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to community involvement and patient advocacy
